Blog 55

It’s 5am and I am blogging, not because I am up this early to go to PT or anything, because I do not have PT on the Wednesdays, but just because I am plain busy.  This is a clutch example of how busy I am this week.  I was working on a paper and presentation that I have to do for Air Force ROTC.  It’s due on Thursday in the morning.  I wanted to work on this and get it done because I know that I will spend a lot of time tomorrow and possibly Thursday working on the common place paper.  I feel a lot more stressed than I think I should be.  This happens to me a lot.  It feels like I have so much to do, but in reality, I really don’t have much to do at all.  Also, a lot of times I will think that something will take me very long to complete, so I stress about it, but when I am done, it didn’t take much time at all, but the worst is thinking that something will not take long at all, but it ends up taking up the entire night.  I’ve never taken a 5 hour energy shot, but I have one waiting for me for tomorrow morning.  I’ll have to see how well it works.  Today my roommate, two friends and I went to the RPAC to play basketball, and completely owned the court.  We played straight for 2 hours, because we didn’t get beat.  Near the last game, we were really tired and pretty much didn’t care if we won anymore, so we lost, thank goodness!  I am extremely beat now, so it’s time for me to go to bed!

  1. I think it is great that you just plow ahead with projects even when you are stressed and overwhelmed. I tend to just continue to put them off, only making the situation worse.

  2. I know what you mean with telling myself something will take much longer than it really does. A lot of the time I will set aside a few hours to work on a project that really only takes me thirty minutes.

  3. I love the feeling you get when the task you thought would take a long time, actually takes only a fraction of your estimated time. You feel good about it but not about the stress before hand.

  5. HaHa I'm sure you might be tired at that time. Yeah we have lots of things to do and it's hard to write blogs after we finish all of our works^^
