Blog 53

                So I like classical music. I have actually been listening while I have been doing my homework.  After lifting, it always feels nice to relax and do homework.  For some reason I feel like I am a lot more productive after I work out, so when I have a lot to get done, I like to make sure that I get a good lift in before starting all of my homework.  Classical music seems to sooth me and makes it so that I concentrate better.  I believe that it has also been proven to make people remember things a little bit better, so I thought that I would give it a try while studying.  I think the main reason why I like classical music is because I used to play in the band up until 9^th grade.  I stopped because I wanted to do other activities such as track.  I do not regret quitting, because I was good at track, and I liked it a lot more, but I do hope to one day pick up my saxophone again and get good at it.  It’s been five years since I’ve touched it.  I also like classical music because it seems like I can always put a story to go along with the music.  It has different expressions and feelings that go along with it.  Now I’m not saying I listen to classical music often. I barely do.  It’s not like I have any songs on my mp3 player.  Actually, if you heard my mp3, you would probably think I was the last person to like classical due to all of the hip-hop, and dance music genre my mp3 player has.  It’s just that if I hear classical music, I enjoy it.  Everybody has something that they enjoy that most people can care less about, and I enjoy classical music.
