This weekend I took a chill pill. It was nice. It felt good to just relax a little bit for a full week. And I don’t plan on going out till at least next weekend, so it will be two weeks since I went out to party. I still had a ton of fun this weekend. Most people didn’t go out this weekend anyway. It was really cold out, so people didn’t want to go out and freeze. Especially since there wasn’t much going on, people did not want to go out and just walk around in the cold all night looking for something to do. I know there were a few things going on, but nothing too big. I feel like winter quarter is going to be pretty dead. It’s probably a very good thing for me, because I am taking a lot of pretty difficult classes. Chemistry, Math, and Engineering, plus 2 ROTC classes, and a GEC which shouldn’t be bad at all. I will have to wake up at 5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 6 on Fridays for ROTC, so it’s probably a good thing winter quarter will be dead so that I can get some more studying in. Sometimes I like to be busy though. Being productive at times can be enjoyable, but productivity to the point where you are not stressed out, because there is nothing worse than that. Unfortunately, college has a lot of stress involved with it, but it’s worth it being here. I love college, especially The Ohio State University.
It's funny because when winter quarter comes, I always see very few people walking to class. It's like the majority want to stay cuddled up in their dorms. Then, right when it gets warmer, everyone's outside. It makes me wonder if tons of people skip class.

ReplyDeleteI keep wondering what life is going to be like after football season. It seems like everything here revolves around whether or not there is a home game. I guess I am going to have to learn to like some basketball this year!
ReplyDeleteI always have conversations with my friends about how much different college is from high school, so stressful, but you have so much more independence so to me it is for sure worth it.
