Yesterday we beat our rival, Michigan.  Ohio State played well.  It was a good game for us.  When it started, I was actually kind of nervous since.  We couldn’t score.  It looked as if Michigan was going to score before we did, and when we finally did score, Michigan quickly responded and scored.  It was nerve racking.  Of course since Ohio State was clearly the better team, we scored again, and again, and didn’t let them score anymore.  I really wanted Dan “Boom” Herron to break the school record for longest returned run.  I was told today that it would have been a school record.  I still do not know what the penalty was during the run.  It could have been holding, but the penalty was enforced at a weird spot, so I’m not sure if that is what the penalty was.  It felt really good to beat our rivals the way we beat them.  There was a lot of trash talking to the Michigan fans that were there.  A couple of my friends said that they felt bad for them because Ohio State fans were trashing on them so bad, and usually I would too, but I understand that it is the biggest rivalry in sports and it is out of fun.  I also know that if the game were at Michigan’s stadium, and OSU fans were there, there would still be just as much trash talk against people wearing OSU apparel.  The game was a lot of fun, besides the cold.  At one point I was so cold I just wanted the game to end, but it was definitely worth it.

  1. Yeah the rivalry was fun, but I feel bad about it. I won't do it, but it's funny when other people do.

  2. Rivaly in U.S. is fantastic. I hope there are rivals in Korea. I'm sure it will make the leagues better if there are many rivals and derbies^^
