Last night I figured out that I might be able to go home for Thanksgiving.  My friend and I went down to the 2^nd floor of Mack hall and there was a map of the United States, and each person from the second floor placed a sticker with their number on it on top of the place where they live.  Below the map was a sheet of paper with everyone’s names on it matched up next to their number, so you can figure out where everyone lives.  While looking, I found a sticker that was pretty much right on top of my hometown, so I looked to see who it was, and it ended up being someone that I knew.  I let her know that I live in that area.  We started talking and she asked me if I am going home for thanksgiving.  I told her that I was not because it is too far for my parents to commute in order to pick me up, and drop me off.  She then told me that she was going home for Thanksgiving, and she has a car here, so she could just give me a ride home for Thanksgiving if I wanted one.  So just like that, I can possibly go home for thanksgiving now.  I’m still not sure what I want to do.  My roommate did invite me over to his house, so I could always go there, but it would obviously be nice to see my family and friends from home again.  My parents would still have to make a small commute since the girl still lives an hour and a half west of me, but that really isn’t a far trip at all.  It’s kind of cool how things worked out starting from just looking at a map of where the 2^nd floor people live.
